Thank goodness the Illinois senate did the right thing and unanimously voted to remove Governor Rod Blagojevich from office.

The Governor has claimed that he in no way broke the law and was not getting a fair hearing by the Senate. He went on a big media tour to try and share his big sob story. Unfortunately, he decided to make a stop on the Rachel Maddow show. Big mistake! Rachel is possibly the best interviewer on TV right now. She is certainly the smartest. She got the Governor to say some pretty incriminating things. And what happens the day after her interview...GONE.

Here is the analysis of the interview with Rachel and a former federal prosecutor. Let's just say that was one interview he should never have done.
